ABOUT
Dr. James C. Gekas
Dr. James C. Gekas is an Internal Medicine physician practicing in Nashville, TN with over 50 years of experience. He graduated medical school from the University of Kentucky. After completing his residency in California, he went on to serve his country as a doctor in the Navy. He then practiced in several states prior to settling in Tennessee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is committed to practicing to the highest standards of evidence-based medical care. Outside of work, Dr. Gekas enjoys golf; he once won the award for the “longest drive” at a tournament. He also likes playing piano and is currently learning Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. When Dr. Gekas is not at home, he’s in Texas visiting his three grandchildren who think he hung the moon.
